In the run-up to pre-season testing, teams have begun issuing dates for the media launches of their new contenders. Ferrari, as usual, are first in, having announced that they will be unveiling the F2010 at Maranello on 28h January.

McLaren, Renault, Sauber and Mercedes will reveal their cars in the following few days in time for the start of testing, with Lotus opting to miss out on the first test of 2010 at Valencia to allow the team more time for development off the track.

It is worth noting that while the Mercedes launch will officially take place on February 1st, the team have revealed that they will be holding a special launch at their headquarters in Stuttgart on January 25th, showing their 2010 livery on the 2009 Brawn GP car.

As always, Turn Two will be bringing you the latest headlines from car launches as well as top stories from pre-season testing.

McLaren better have a new livery for this season, getting sick of that shiny car they've had for like 10 centuries now

They're going to look like Mercedes aren't they? I suppose Merc will have blue for Petronas rather than McLaren's Santander and Vodafone red.

Sauber and Renault will be unveiling their 2010 machines tomorrow at Valencia, Spain, ahead of next week's test.

Monday will bring the launches of Mercedes, Williams and Toro Rosso, all at the Spanish circuit as testing begins, and on Wednesday Virgin's first F1 car will be uncovered in an online broadcast.

As always, Turn Two will bring you the latest news and pictures from each of the launches.
