    Oh yes, you heard right.
The baby Aston which has always been the best sounding car for the road, has now been given the power it deserves with a 6 litre V12 producing 510 brake horsepower and 420 lbft of torque, which propels the car to 60 in 4.2 seconds, has been taken out of concept (which is where it has been since 2007) and is now ready for production

Only 1000 will be made, and deliveries are expected to start later in 2009.

The car was by no means easy to create - fitting that huge engine into something which is actually not much larger than the standard mid-sized hatch was difficult, but they've managed it, and they've also managed to keep the car's stunning looks, even with those bonnet bulges and tweeked aerodynamics.

Let's hope it sounds as good as it looks, and if it is, Aston are on to a winner.

Best thing is this isn't just a flashy hypercar for Geneva, Aston have confirmed that this will be made for the 1000 lucky punters who've ordered one
