Whats going to happen to Toro Rosso in 2010??
Aren't the FIA bringing some new rules in that means teams have to produce their own engines??
    Can someone tell me more??

    Yo RICHY B

Mateschitz (who owns Red Bull and Toro Rosso) wants to sell Toro Rosso, so he will be looking for a new owner.

They will never bring in a rule like that, in fact they were looking to bring in standardised engines, until Ferrari threatened to quit if they did.

The ban on customer cars is lingering, so I think Toro Rosso will have to split from Red Bull pretty soon.

Anyway, if teams had to make their own engines, that means Force India, Red Bull, Williams, Toro Rosso and McLaren would have to ditch their suppliers. That's half the grid.

Mercedes would just buy out the rest of the team, you know it, I know it.

I'm thinking Toro Rosso would be capable of standing on it's own two feet come 2010, perhaps with a deal much like McLaren/Force India's where the two teams will still have completely different chassis but with a little help on the development side from a much larger team.

Yeah, I think their success this season has paved the way for their development.

They will have alot more sponsor interest and I think the team has learned alot.
