    What's in a name Empty What's in a name

Turn Two is named after the second corner of a circuit. I personally liked the idea because it represents some of the greatest corners in the world. I think Mike's just easily pleased.

    - Turn 2 at Spa is the infamous Eau Rouge - possibly the most exciting corner in the world

    - At Silverstone, Turn 2 is the entrance of the Maggots/Becketts/Chapel complex

    - Part of the historic Casino Square at Monaco is its second corner

    - San Marino's Imola circuit has a second corner named Tamburello - perhaps you may have heard of it

    - A tricky downhill right-hander turn 2 is named after Ayrton Senna at Interlagos

    - We've seen some spectacular examples of Formula 1 at its best through the sweeping second corners at Istanbul, Shanghai, Sakhir, Catalunya, Fuji, Suzuka and Budapest

    - Let's not forget some famous manouvres: Schumacher on Fisichella at China 2006, Alonso on Hamilton in 2007 and then Vettel on Hamilton in 2008 at Interlagos, Massa on Montoya at Eau Rouge in 2003

    - We've seen some turn 2 incidents recently - remember Massa's nudge on Hamilton at Monza 2007? Or what about Massa's spin at Melbourne 2008? And Alonso's off track excursion at Catalunya, Spain 2007?

We have witnessed some memorable F1 moments from second corners of a circuit, so Turn Two will be on the lookout for some more this season - post any here!

Ah but Turn 1 is the best turn in Formula 1... Think of Spa turn one, and my favourite, Nurburgring Turn 1...

still Turn 2's are pretty awesome

    It was my idea.

After Formula Torque and the other site which failed I guess Turn Two just sounded catchy. People have had the gravel trap, the rumble strip, ect.

I just liked the ring of 'Turn Two.'

How could you ever say turn one at Spa is better than Eau Rouge :O EVIL

And how can turn 1 at Nurburgring be your favourite - it's only good when there are rivers of water on track Razz
